1/20/2023 – Call-Out Good evening, Conner Street Families – Here is our weekly update. Morning Drop-Off – We have had several issues with morning drop off lately. Please DO NOT drop your child off in the back of the parking lot or middle of the road. Additionally, we need our parking spots for staff and pre-K parents. Please merge into the drop off line and follow the traffic flow. We understand that some of you wanted to walk your kindergarten and first grade students when school started; however, we are now in the second semester. The drop off line moves very quickly, and on average parents wait less than one minute. To make the drop off line move even faster, please have your child ready to depart from the vehicle and pay attention to the staff directing you to pull forward. On site Pre-K Registration for Conner Street is March 24th; however, all new upcoming Pre-K students should do online registration starting January 17th. Please visit our Schoology Page, or the Putnam County Schools Facebook page for the link and more information. Kindergarten registration for Conner Street will be March 15th and 16th. Movie Nights are coming next week. Grades K-1 will be on Thursday, February 2nd and grades 2-3 will be on Friday, February 3rd. A flyer from PTB will come home next week. Money will not be accepted the day of the party, unless the student has been absent for several days. Valentine Parties – Due to Valentine’s Day falling on a Tuesday, we will be having a teacher led classroom party to maintain a regular school schedule as much as possible. Information may be coming from the teacher or homeroom parent regarding donations for treat bags or snacks. Our next Parent Involvement activity will be Thursday, March 16th. Have a great weekend!
